Dr Gottfried Hutter, German Psychotherapist and Catholic Theologist presented his Vision of Peace for Israel/Palestine at a congress on the Middle East held in Amman, June 2006:
"So far in all Middle East peace negotiations one location has been painstakingly avoided, the religious center of the conflict, the Temple Mount, Haram Ash-Sharif".
"This proposal is focusing at exactly that spot, and it starts with a snapshot taken in the future, after successful reconciliation: a common sanctuary of the three Abrahamic religions in this sacred spot. In that image none of the existing structures will be touched, therefore all parties will win. Without taking anything away from anyone the Jews will be allowed to build a New Temple at the desired location, which is also a symbol of their right to live in this land; without losing anything, the Muslims will receive the long hoped for universal recognition of the spirit of Islam with dignity and honor, and the Christians, too, will get what they hope for: a deeply humane solution."

NEW WORLD CONGRESS OF IMAMS AND RABBIS FOR PEACE
The Third World Congress of Imams and Rabbis for Peace will be held under the High Patronage of UNESCO from 15 to 17 December 2008 in Paris.
"The Sacredness of Peace" is the theme of this new Congress.
